Brokerage AI Moves Past Marketing, Delta Media Survey Says Research

A Delta Media Group survey of brokerage leaders finds 97% say their agents use AI and 53% plan to expand it into back-office automation, up from 23% in 2024. Delta Media has an office in Kendall, Miami.

Brokerage AI is moving from listing descriptions to the back office.

A Delta Media Group survey found 97% of brokerage leaders say their agents use AI. More than half plan to adopt or expand it for customer management and workflow automation.

Delta Media is a real estate technology company with an office in Kendall, Miami. The company published the survey results on September 16.

The survey included responses from more than 100 brokerage leaders.

What Will Brokerages Adopt Next?

Leaders named the uses they plan to adopt or expand this year. Customer management and workflows lead at 55%, followed by administrative and back-office automation at 53%.

Agent recruiting, training and performance coaching reach 52%. Business intelligence, forecasting and predictive analytics reach 49%.

Document summaries and contract review sit at 48%. Market analysis and property valuations come in at 46%.

Half also plan to adopt or expand agentic AI, which are tools built to carry out tasks on a user’s behalf. This was the first year Delta Media asked about them.

How Much Has Changed Since 2024?

Delta Media’s 2024 survey found brokerage plans focused largely on digital marketing and social media. At that time, 23% expected to use AI for front-office or administrative support.

In 2026, 53% plan to adopt or expand AI for administrative and back-office automation.

Leaders also rated AI’s current importance to their businesses at 7.12 out of 10, up from 5.45 in 2024. They expect that rating to reach 8.25 over the next 12 to 18 months.

Michael Minard, CEO and owner of Delta Media Group, described the shift. “We’re watching AI move from the edges of the brokerage toward the center.”

He said marketing and content were “natural places to start because the benefits were easy to see.”

Brokerage AI began with listing descriptions and social posts. Today’s list reaches customer records, contracts and recruiting.

Delta Media says the findings mark a change from its 2024 survey.

The jump in back-office plans is the clearest change. It is 30 percentage points higher than in 2024, more than double the earlier share.

Agent-level use is already near universal. The growth is in how brokerages run themselves, not only how agents market listings.

The six uses on the list sit within nine points of each other, from 55% down to 46%. No single use dominates.

The importance rating rose 1.67 points since 2024. Leaders expect it to climb another 1.13 points.

What Is the Hard Part?

Adoption is not the open question. Minard says the work now is deployment.

“The opportunity now is figuring out where AI really delivers value,” he said. He also pointed to how the capabilities work together inside a brokerage.

Customer management and document review both touch client data. MAIN has covered a Brickell startup that raised $1.25M for AI privacy.

How Does This Compare With South Florida?

Local brokerages are already testing the uses on Delta Media’s list. MAIN has covered a Boca Raton brokerage that built an AI coach for cold calls.

That fits the agent training and coaching category, which 52% of leaders plan to adopt or expand.

Miami’s startups are working on the same stack. MAIN has covered five Miami proptech firms rebuilding real estate.

MAIN has also covered a Miami startup that wants to rebuild the MLS with AI. That work sits close to the market analysis and valuation category, where 46% of leaders plan to adopt or expand.

A Note on the Data

Brokerage AI results are self-reported here. Leaders answered what they plan to adopt or expand, not what they measured.

The survey comes from a vendor that serves brokerages. It reports leaders’ plans and views, not measured results.

The 2026 figures show stated intentions. The next survey will show which of those plans became daily tools.
