Three public AI companies now carry a Miami label, and each earned it differently.
Simply Wall St published “3 US AI Stocks Linked To Miami’s Growing Tech And Finance Hub” in September. The picks are Globant, SharonAI and Intapp.
The article is general commentary, not financial advice, and so is this post. MAIN is not recommending any stock.
Why Are Miami AI Stocks Suddenly a Theme?
The hook is Ken Griffin’s $3 billion pledge to Carnegie Mellon University. Simply Wall St says it puts “fresh fuel” behind Miami’s tech and finance story.
The pledge includes $2 billion for a new Carnegie Mellon campus in Wynwood. The article argues that a research hub can shape where talent flows.
Its full screen surfaced 41 more companies. The three it names sit in services, compute and software.
Globant: Jobs and a Local Acquisition
Globant is a technology services firm that builds AI-infused platforms and tools for large enterprises. Simply Wall St cites about $2.5 billion in revenue.
In April 2021 the company announced an expansion at 5201 Blue Lagoon Drive. The plan added 150 jobs over three years, on top of 90 existing South Florida employees.
It also launched a Smart Venues Hub using IoT and AI. Fernando Matzkin, then Chief Business Officer for Globant North America, explained the choice of city.
“Miami possesses a strong and diverse talent base that will propel forward the business of our clients,” he said.
Then-Mayor Francis Suarez called the move “a further validation of the emergence of our Miami as a globally competitive tech ecosystem.”
In October 2024 Globant bought Blankfactor, a Miami-based fintech engineering firm. Terms were not disclosed.
Blankfactor works in payments, banking and capital markets, and has more than 450 technology staff worldwide. Its founders stayed to lead it.
Blankfactor’s clients include six of the top ten payment processors and major global banks and asset managers.
SharonAI: A Miami Beach Headquarters
SharonAI builds GPU compute and cloud AI infrastructure. Simply Wall St reports about $3.1 million in revenue, all from U.S. customers.
Its principal executive offices are at 2340 Collins Avenue, Suite 402, in Miami Beach. It also lists an office on Fifth Avenue in New York.
The company listed on Nasdaq in February 2026, pricing a $125 million IPO. Its Miami Beach address puts a listed GPU-cloud company on the city’s map.
Simply Wall St adds that SharonAI has one of two NVIDIA cloud partnerships at scale in Australia.
In April 2026 SharonAI announced a five-year, $1.25 billion agreement with India’s ESDS Software Solutions.
The deal covers an 8,000-GPU cluster in an Australian data center. Revenue is expected from the third quarter of 2026.
Contract value is not revenue, so buyers should watch how quickly the agreement converts.
Intapp: Clients on Both Sides of Biscayne Bay
Intapp sells AI-powered software to professional and financial firms. Its tools cover deals, clients, compliance and timekeeping.
Simply Wall St cites about $578 million in revenue, with roughly $392 million from the United States.
The company launched DealCloud Activator in February 2025 and a GenAI-enabled Intapp Time release in August 2025.
Its Miami connection is its customer list. Intapp’s site features Starwood Capital Group, which it describes as founded in 1991 and headquartered in Miami Beach.
Starwood describes itself as a global private investment firm focused on real estate and energy infrastructure.
The site also lists Jackson Lewis P.C., a national law firm with a Miami office.
Those are the buyers Intapp’s software targets: investment firms and law firms. Miami is adding both.
Three Ways to Be a Miami Company
The three picks show three different links. Globant employs people here. SharonAI is headquartered here. Intapp serves clients here.
Griffin’s gift adds a fourth, the talent pipeline. Carnegie Mellon plans to teach 3,500 students in Wynwood, with enrollment from 2028.
For a CEO choosing a vendor or partner, the useful question is where a company hires, sits and sells.
In Miami, the answer is increasingly all three.
