Making ads is getting cheap. Knowing which ads to make is not.
That is the argument from GetHookd, a Miami-based advertising intelligence company. It says AI advertising has shifted the hard problem from production to selection.
The claim comes from the company’s own press release, issued September 29.
Meta’s AI Push
GetHookd points to Meta’s expansion of AI across ad creation, optimization and testing.
Meta says more than 8 million advertisers used a generative AI creative tool in the first quarter of 2026.
Digiday reported in June on how that automation is changing agency and advertiser work.
GetHookd reads the adoption as a leveling of the playing field. If everyone can produce creative, production stops being an advantage.
What GetHookd Sells
The company describes itself as an advertising intelligence platform for media buyers, ecommerce brands and agencies.
It says its platform analyzes more than 65 million Meta ads. The aim is to spot competitor creatives being actively scaled.
It also tracks ad duration, landing pages and traffic strategies.
A tool called Creative Analyzer connects to Meta Business Manager. It identifies an advertiser’s strongest creatives and patterns among top performers.
GetHookd also offers generative creative tools and funnel templates as starting points.
The pitch is a single workflow. It runs from pre-campaign research to creative development to post-launch analysis.
Why Selection Is the Bottleneck
If every advertiser can generate hundreds of variants, budget becomes the limit. Nobody can test them all.
That shifts the value toward knowing which concepts deserve a test. It is the gap GetHookd says it fills.
The Founder’s Case
“AI is making creative production faster, but speed alone does not solve the problem of knowing what to test,” said founder Alex Fedotoff.
He argues the advantage comes from connecting market intelligence to execution.
What to Weigh
The release is promotional. The 65 million figure and the workflow claims are GetHookd’s own, and MAIN has not verified them.
Meta’s 8 million figure is also self-reported. It comes from Meta, as cited in the release.
Still, the underlying question is real. When production is nearly free, testing discipline becomes the scarce skill.
GetHookd is a Miami company betting that advertisers will pay for that discipline. Meta’s tools are cheapening creative, and GetHookd is selling the judgment that comes next.
