Miami AI School is opening applications for its Advanced Phase: AI Agents Mastery, an eight-session program designed for professionals ready to move from using AI tools to building AI systems.

The program, run by eMerge Americas and Miami AI Hub, focuses on practical agentic AI rather than theory. Participants bring a real workflow and develop it from prototype into a controlled agentic system.

The curriculum covers advanced vibe coding, AI agents, tool and data integration, multi-agent systems, evaluations, observability, safety and guardrails, and production readiness.

Participants will finish with a working AI application, an agent workflow connected to approved tools and data, an evaluation framework, monitoring plan, safety and permissions model, and a deployment and rollback strategy.

The program runs September 14 through October 8, 2026, with sessions on Mondays in person and Thursdays virtually.

Advanced Phase: AI Agents Mastery Curriculum

The eight-session curriculum includes:

  1. From Prototype to Application, Define a real system, its users, workflow and acceptance criteria.

  2. Advanced Vibe Coding, Build a stronger application architecture and manage changes safely.

  3. Build Your First Agent, Define goals, tools, state, stopping conditions and approval boundaries.

  4. Tools, Data, and Workflows, Connect approved resources while maintaining clear data boundaries.

  5. Multi-Agent Systems, Design specialized roles, handoffs and failure containment.

  6. Evals and Observability, Build test cases, graders, traces, monitoring and improvement loops.

  7. Guardrails and Production Readiness, Address security, permissions, red-team scenarios, incidents and rollback.

  8. Ship, Demo, and Defend, Deploy a bounded system and demonstrate its performance, controls and limitations.

The Advanced Phase is aimed at executives, founders, operators, product leaders, creatives and other professionals with existing hands-on AI experience. A traditional software engineering background is not required.

What this means for Miami: Miami’s AI ecosystem is increasingly moving beyond AI literacy toward the practical development of agentic systems. Programs like this are helping build the local talent capable of designing, evaluating and deploying AI systems inside real businesses.
